A locally produced table lamp by the sadly long gone Arklow pottery factory. There were three variations of this lamp and shade made for Arthur Guinness back in the 50's/60's this being the rarer of the three. The Guinness Toucan is an iconic symbol conjured up by famous poster designer John Gilroy and became the most popular of the animal advertisements due to the animals colour and cheeriness.
Condition commersurate with age. Some damage to the toucan and the shade. Viewing advised before purchase..
