Well executed painting blind stamp embossed E.S.K (The Examined school South Kensington) lower left. With an E.S.K stamp this painting was considered a fine peice of art as E.S. K was considered a precursor to the Royal College of Art. Dating to the end of the 19th century as the E.S.K was renamed and became The Victoria &Albert Museum in 1899.

Condition commensurate with agae and use. Glazed and framed in Oak with a gilt slip

Provenance: A label verso denotes it was gifted in the 1930s.
