A wonderful hand painted Folk Art Bride Box of bentwood construction and decorated with the bride to be to the top and flowing flowers around its sides. Dating to the late 18th Century and originating from the Swiss/Austro/Bavarian region of central Europe these are highly decorative rare pieces of antique storage. The bride would have been gifted the box as a momento of the occassion and a place for her keepsakes.
