Large scale 19th Century folk art arrow Weathervane

Built to catch the wind but now really catches the eye.

Rare large scale 19th century possibly earlier forged folk art arrow weathervane. A lovely aged patina has added to the decorative appeal of this hand wrought iron vane. Featuring a sphere finial, fletched tail and barbed directional arrow head.

Condition comensurate with age and use.  Pitted wrought iron bars, traces of old gold paint.
