French c1830 century oil on canvas study of a young girl

A beautiful well framed French period piece of art circa 1830s. Maple framed oil on canvas naive study of a young girl hold her bonnet in a garden setting. 

 Canvas stamped verso J.H Simpson (John Henry Simpson) 54 London Road, Borough, London. Oil and Colourman. Mr Simpson plied his trade in nearby Southwark from 1837-1854.

Condition commensurate with age and use. Some old reapirs to the rear of the canvas.
