This exceptional Antique French Wrought Iron & Brass patesserie table with oak top dates to the mid Belle Epoque era (1871-1914) and would have originally been used to display the patesserie shops finest gatueax's, pastries and breads in their shop window etc. A highly decorative table with scrolling wrought iron work, brass finials and palmette in the art nouveau taste. The table is a low height, perfect for using as a coffee/side table.
Codition commensurate with age the swirling metal base has remnants of the original paint whilst the top is a good thick piece of oak which is in very good condition (possibly replacing an original marble top).
