C1900 oak spindle back tub chairs

A classic Antique oak tub chair with Art Nouveau(1890-1910) embossed seat. Tub shaped with a spindle back and serpentine seat rail above turned legs united by double cross strecthers. These useful chairs would have many uses in todays home, desk chair, hall chair, dining chair, bedroom chair but these particular chairs have a history....... In these chairs earlier life they were used in a Barber shop the brass fittings remain on the back of the chairs and would have been for a head rest to slot into. A nice bit of provenance for the new owners of these excellent chairs.
