A fine William Tonks of Birmingham, England 19th century adjustable jardinere or side wine table stand. A polished Beech top with brass and spiral faux bois column and brass adjustment screw terminating on a decorative cast iron base with four hairy paw feet. An exceptional peice of furniture for the antique home. Stamped to the underside of the base with the William Tonks trade mark Sun.
Condition commensurate with age and use. Waxed and polished ready for use. The height can be adjusted from 64cm at its lowest to 115cm at it highest.
