A Fantastic c1875 Hamley Brothers of London Superior Dissected Maps (England&Wales) jigsaw. The pictorial slide top is so Victorian Empire in style with beautiful typography. Note the term jigsaw didn't come into use until the late 1880's up to that point, nursery and educational toys like this puzzle were referred to as dissected. A wonderful survivor from the Victorian era and only one tiny piece missing ( The Wirral).

Condition commensurate with age and use. Playworn as one would expect.
