A wonderful hand carved wooden gilt framed mirror with beautiful beading, scrolling, winged cherub atop and open book detail to the bottom of the frame. Fragments of old newspaper tell us that this mirror spent a period of its life in Warwickshire, England prior to its rehoming in Ireland. An ideal console mirror, wall mirror and focal point in a living room.
Condition commensurate with age and use. Original mirror replaced in 1953 and dated as such on the reverse.
