Diminutive antique stool with circular top lovely original scumbled finish on turned spalyed legs. Crafted from elm this stool was used originally in the mid 19th century as a stand for a nightlight or candlestick to be place on a bedside locker or table. It has a lovely time worn patina and charm about it.
Condition commensurate with age and use. A leather pad added to the foot of one leg presumably due to wear but does add somewhat to its charm. Lovely wear throughout.
