19th Century Copper Martime Signalling Lamp

An excellently crafted Copper and brass 19th Century morse code signalling Lamp. This unusual lamp we presume would have been mounted on a pole as its open ended at the bottom. The trigger on the back allows the aperture on the front to open and close to emit morse bu flashing light. The light soucre is provided by an oil buner within. An unusual and rare piece for the nautical collector/home.

Condition commensurate with age and use. There appears to have been a catch for the brass window which is not present.
