A superb example of French 18th century wrought iron work. This Archelle fork would have originated in northern france and would have be crafted by a highly skilled blacksmith. From top to bottom it is decorated with magniicent volute scroll work and part wrythen main body. A beautiful piece of rustic decoration.
Condition commensurate with age and use. Some surface rust.
